FL Teacher Accused Of Showing Sexual Videos, Photos Of Himself To Students

A teacher faces multiple charges after being arrested for showing students sexual videos and photos of himself, Hillsborough sheriff said.

SEFFNER, FL — A teacher at Armwood High School was arrested for showing sexual content of himself to four students, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Deputies received an anonymous tip on April 9 that Anthony Jenkins, 38, showed videos and pictures of himself engaged in sexual acts to four teens, the agency said.

Investigators confirmed that Jenkins showed the content to the four teens, who were his former students.

Through a search warrant, detectives accessed his phone which confirmed the videos and pictures shown to the victims, the sheriff’s office said. Also discovered were images of bestiality and child pornography.

"No child should ever have to carry the weight of this kind of trauma, especially at the hands of someone they were taught to trust," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "Thanks to the bravery of the victims and the hard work of our detectives, he is now behind bars."

Jenkins was arrested Monday and charged with three counts of film, distribute, or possess images or videos of sexual activity with an animal; two counts of possession of child pornography; and seven counts of sell or distribute obscene material to a minor.

He was suspended by Hillsborough County Schools at the start of the investigation.
