Ten companies headquartered in Florida are ranked among Fortune’s best small and medium workplaces list released Thursday.
Companies on the list outperformed their peers, building high levels of trust that drive higher levels of productivity, engagement and business performance, according to a news release from Great Place to Work, which partnered with Fortune to develop the list.
“Small- and medium-sized businesses can compete with anyone for talent when they build an irresistible culture,” Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work, said in the release. “These companies make the most of their strategic advantages as smaller organizations, ensuring every employee feels recognized for their contributions and rewarded with their fair share of the benefits of success.”

One hundred companies were ranked in both the 2025 Fortune Best Small Workplaces and Fortune Best Medium Workplaces lists.
Florida-based small companies included:

- Florida New Vision, a Miami-based health-care company, ranked 20th nationally.
- Cell Staff, a Tampa-based health-care staffing company, ranked 26th nationally.
- Nucleus Security, a Sarasota-based information technology company, ranked 78th nationally.
- Homeinc, a Fort Lauderdale-based real-estate company, ranked 82nd nationally.
Florida-based medium companies included:
- AnswerFirst Communications, Inc., a Tampa-based professional services company, ranked 13th nationally.
- City National Bank of Florida, a Coral Gables-based financial services and insurance company, ranked 25th nationally.
- Community Medical Group, a Miami-based health-care company, ranked 37th nationally.
- Rise8, Inc., a Tampa-based information technology company, ranked 73rd nationally.
- Launch Potato, a Delray Beach-based advertising and marketing company, ranked 98th nationally.
- Skillable, a Newport Richey-based information technology company, ranked 100th nationally.
For companies that made the lists, nine in 10 employees said they wanted to stay with their employer long-term, compared to just two-thirds of employees at a typical workplace of a similar size, according to the release
Also, winning companies had more employees who reported giving extra effort on the job — 98 percent for small and 95 percent for medium-sized companies, compared to 60 percent and 62 percent for typical workplaces of the same sizes.
Great Place to Work said both lists are highly competitive and based on validated annual survey data from over 1.3 million U.S. employees. Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of employees’ experiences.
Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer a positive employee experience regardless of job, role, work status or other demographic identifiers.
