Top 10 Private High Schools In FL Revealed In New Ranking

Dwight Global Online School in West Palm Beach is the best private high school in Florida, according to a new ranking from Niche.

For the 2026 Best Private High Schools in America ranking released Monday, Niche evaluated 30,000 private schools on measures such as test score, academic performance and input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.

Niche ranked Dwight Global at 14th nationally.

Behind Dwight Global, rounding out the top 10 private schools in Florida are:

No. 2 Ransom Everglades School, Coconut Grove, ranked 23rd nationally;
No. 3 American Heritage Schools, Broward Campus, Plantation, ranked 35th nationally;
No. 4 Berkeley Preparatory School, Tampa, ranked 86th nationally;
No. 5 Posnack Jewish Day School, Davie, ranked 93rd nationally;
No. 6 Gulliver Preparatory School, Pinecrest, ranked 106th nationally;
No. 7 NSU University School, Davie, ranked 118th nationally;
No. 8 Pine Crest School, Fort Lauderdale, ranked 119th nationally;
No. 9 American Heritage Schools, Palm Beach Campus, Delray Beach, ranked 122nd nationally;
No. 10 Donna Klein Jewish Academy, Boca Raton, ranked 140th nationally;

Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology is the best public high school in Georgia.

Following the Lawrenceville school were Alliance Academy for Innovation in Cumming and Columbus High School in Columbus.
