• 🚓 A Tampa police officer narrowly avoided two wrongway driving cars early Sunday morning on the Selmon Expressway.
• 🐊The South Florida Bulls fell 31-28 to the Gators in Gainesville on Saturday.

Here are the top five stories in Tampa today:

1. State troopers are investigating a crash involving an overturned fuel tanker on U.S. 41 at Madison Avenue in Clair-Mel on Sunday at 12:10 p.m. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the tanker truck was traveling south on U.S. 41 and failed to negotiate a left turn onto Madison Avenue. 2. New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore and Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans were ejected from Sunday's football game for fighting. Lattimore and Evans have a history of dislike for each other going back to 2017. (ESPN)

3. Tampa Police Officer Scott Van Treese was taking a DUI arrestee to jail at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on the Selmon Expressway when two cars came driving the wrong way down the ramp. The officer swerved to avoid hitting the cars, which police said were a small sedan and a van. The officer immediately put out a notice so other officers could track down the drivers, but they were never found. (WFLA)

4. The South Florida Bulls lost 31-28 to the Gators on Saturday night. USF's Spencer Shrader missed a 49-yard field goal with 23 seconds left on the clock that would have probably sent the game into overtime. (Bay News 9)

5. Thousands of excited fans visited the historic Coliseum for the first-ever "Anime St. Pete" convention over the weekend across the bridge. Anime St. Pete organizer Dewey Caruthers said he wanted to bring fans together in the city he grew up in. (Fox 13 Tampa)
