The second tropical depression of the Atlantic hurricane season formed Tuesday.
Tropical Depression Two formed from the tropical wave reported by the National Hurricane Center in Miami Monday.
As of Tuesday at 5 p.m., the depression is located at about 13 degrees north and 50 degrees west, about 800 miles west of Barbados with winds in excess of 35 mph.

The storm is moving westward at 18 mph.
Meteorologist Michael Brennan of NHC forecasts the storm will remain a depression through Wednesday.
