Upscale Boutique Hotel To Open In Hyde Park Village This Fall
Avi Brosh's Palisociety boutique hotel group has announced the anticipated fall opening of Palihouse Hyde Park Village.
TAMPA, FL — Designer and hotelier Avi Brosh has announced that his newest Palisociety boutique hotel is preparing for the fall opening of Palihouse Hyde Park Village, the first hotel in the area and the brand’s first foray into Tampa.
Palisociety is developing the hotel in partnership with WS Development, one of the largest retail-led mixed-use development firms in the country.
“Hyde Park is noted as the most revered destination neighborhood in Tampa, and with Hyde Park Village’s innate charm and sense of style, we knew it was a natural fit for a Palihouse hotel,” said Avi Brosh, founder and CEO of Palisociety. “We particularly covet finding unexpected properties in communities where we can create a unique and creative new aesthetic and vision for the area that feels like a natural extension of its existing appeal.”

“Hyde Park Village has long been a beloved destination in Tampa and the addition of Palihouse completes the picture," said Samantha David, president of WS Development. “Palisociety is an industry leader for creating boutique hotels that are original and charming with distinctive and thoughtful amenities and a remarkable attention to detail, always designing with the neighborhood in mind. We could not be more excited about our partnership and the experience it will deliver to our guests.”
WS has owned and managed Hyde Park Village since 2013. Located on a tree-lined street within the Hyde Park historic neighborhood, Palihouse Hyde Park Village is a 36-guest room hideaway cloaked in European-inspired style with a dose of Palisociety’s signature irreverent design. As the first hotel in an area that features brick walkways and majestic oak trees alongside premier retail shops, award-winning eateries and a monthly farmer’s market, Palihouse will add to Hyde Park Village with its highly curated, contemporary inn-style experience and aesthetic, said Brosh.

Among the amenities are a lobby lounge with a café and bar that offers guests an all-day dining menu, as well as coffee, classic cocktails, beer and wine. Generously sized guest rooms, also situated on the hotel’s second story, feature kitchenettes equipped with Smeg mini fridges, custom dining tables, gallery art walls, brass Waterworks fixtures and library seating in most rooms.
Guests can enjoy Palisociety staples including Diptyque bath amenities, Bellino fine linens, Nespresso coffee machines and carefully curated minibars stocked with a premium assortment of snacks and libations. Walls are awash in a soft French gray color counterbalanced with wood furnishings, a mix of vintage and custom pieces, and brand touches, including hand-picked artwork, Palisociety “P” throw pillows, curtain-adorned kitchenette cupboards and more.
The overall impression is one that honors Florida’s colorful and warm personality with a dose of European-influenced style and sensibility.
Palihouse Hyde Park Village is Palisociety’s 19th property, alongside 12 Palisociety, two Le Petit Pali and four ARRIVE by Palisociety destinations. The hotel is scheduled to open at 1509 W. Swann Avenue in Tampa.
