USF Student Robbed Pizza Guy with Toy Gun, Police Say
A 20-year-old University of South Florida student was arrested in a Tuesday morning armed robbery on campus.

TAMPA, FL — A 20-year-old University of South Florida student faces armed robbery charges after an early Tuesday morning hold-up of a pizza delivery man.
According to the University of South Florida Police, a report about an armed robbery near the Holly Residential Hall came in around 4 a.m. Nov. 1. When officers spoke with the victim, they learned a man approached him with what appeared to be a handgun in his waistband. The man told the victim he wanted the pizza for free, an email from police said.
The delivery driver fled and notified police, the email said.

A search for the accused robber began. Police say they located the suspect and found a toy handgun in his possession.
Keion Cantrell of Maitland was charged with armed robbery. Police say Cantrell is a USF student who lives in the Holly Hall apartments.

Cantrell was being held at the Hillsborough County Jail Tuesday morning in lieu of $15,000 bond.
