Watch Live Stream: Donald Trump's St. Augustine and Tampa, Florida Rallies

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has two Oct. 24 campaign stops set in Florida as early voting sites open.

TAMPA, FL — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s attentions have turned toward Florida as early-voting locations across the state open their doors. The New York businessman has two Sunshine State rallies on his schedule Monday, Oct. 24 as voters eager to beat the Nov. 8 crunch begin casting their ballots.

Trump’s campaign has been locked in a battle to retake a neck-and-neck standing in the polls in the crucial battleground that is Florida. Following the release of a video that showed Trump saying lewd things about women, the Republican’s poll numbers began to slide and have not rebounded despite scandals cropping up related to Democrat Hillary Clinton. Trump has also begun to face a long list of accusers who say he inappropriately touched them.

Hoping to close the gap against Clinton, in the Sunshine State at least, Trump has a heavy rally schedule planned. He’s set to take the stage at St. Augustine Amphitheatre at 3 p.m. Monday before heading to Tampa for a 7 p.m. rally at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater.

Clinton’s campaign has also been on the defensive since WikiLeaks dumped emails allegedly written by or sent to her staff members. Among some of the revelations to come out of the WikiLeaks dumps are supposed excerpts from her Wall Street speeches. One email reportedly noted Clinton as saying, “you need to have a private and public position on policy.” Another spoke about open borders and open trade.

The WikiLeaks dump has also brought a $12 million donation from Morocco’s King Mohammed VI to the Clinton Foundation under scrutiny. The Clinton campaign has denounced the WikiLeaks email release, saying the hack represents an effort by the Russian government to influence the American election.

Scandals aside, Clinton continues to lead Trump in the polls. The RealClearPolitics average gave the Democrat a 6.1 percentage point lead nationally on Monday, down slightly from polling last week. In Florida, RealClearPolitics gives Clinton a 3.8 percentage point lead.
