This story is for Miami Hurricanes fans everywhere.

But when ‘Canes alumna Jennifer Urs-Sullivan was planning her wedding, she didn’t have that option. Her father died two years ago, MyFOX Orlando reports.

“I thought about my father-in-law,” she told the Orlando FOX affiliate.

“I didn’t want to replace my dad. I wanted it to be more of a personification of who he was.”

Urs-Sullivan decided no figure would be more suitable than her alma mater’s mascot, Sebastian the Ibis.

“He raised me to be the biggest [Miami] football fan,” Urs-Sullivan said.

The video from her March wedding to Patrick Sullivan has become the most popular post on the Miami Hurricanes sports Facebook page since it was posted last week. It had nearly 12,000 likes and shares as of Thursday.

A subsequent re-posting of the video to YouTube has also been viewed nearly a quarter million times.
