Woman’s Remains Found In Wooded Area In Florida
A death investigation is underway after a woman's remains were found in a wooded area in the Tampa area, the Hillsborough sheriff said.
LUTZ, FL — A woman’s remains were found in a wooded area in Lutz on Friday morning, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded to a call about possible human remains in the 19100 block of Ramblewood Road just after 11:20 a.m.
After deputies confirmed the remains, the Medical Examiner’s Office determined they were a woman.

There were no apparent signs of trauma, the sheriff’s office said.
