Here are the top stories in Tampa today:

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka has partnered with One More Child for a national campaign to draw awareness and support for single moms. The nonprofit provides assistance with food, clothing and other essential resources. Their Single Moms Community Program is a "10-week program designed to assist mothers on their journey to self-sufficiency." (Lakeland Patch)

2. A collision on Wednesday involving four semi-trucks and one pickup shutdown southbound lanes of I-175 at mile marker 296 in Hernando County and sent cases of Coors Light flying across the roadway, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Only minor injuries were reported. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

3. Four Ybor City bartenders were arrested as part of a Tampa Police Department (TPD) sting that accused them of selling drugs to bar patrons. Police say they were able to purchase drugs "ranging from cocaine to Adderall" at Southern Nights club, White Lie bar, Coyote Ugly Saloon and Tangra Nightclub. (WFLA)

4. The Hillsborough County school board approved sex education courses for students in seventh, eighth and ninth grades on Tuesday night. The courses are modified every year and posted online for parents to review. Some parents objected to the material. (WTSP)

5. A Tampa woman, Lizette Rivera, has created a coffee-inspired gift box business called Roasted Whisk. Each box has items, including a sticker, mug or candle. In recognition of Dementia Awareness Month, Rivera introduced a special box called 'Forget Me Knot,' with proceeds donated to The Dementia Society of America. (ABC Action News)
