Can You ID This Armed Robbery Suspect?

St. Petersburg Police are looking for help identifying a man accused of robbing a store earlier this week.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is looking for help identifying a man its officers say held up an elderly 7-Eleven store clerk earlier this week.

According to the agency, the clerk was standing outside the 3000 49th St. N. 7-Eleven just after 4 a.m. Oct. 23 when a man walked up to him. The man, who was wearing a mask, forced the clerk back inside the business and implied he had a gun, an email from the department said.

The robber then took the cash from a register before taking off, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s. He was wearing glasses, a multi-colored sweatshirt, blue jeans and black-and-white Nike sneakers at the time of the robbery.

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call the St. Petersburg Police Department at 727-893-7780. Tips may also be submitted by texting SPPD and the tip to 847-411.
