Deputy-Involved Shooting Reported in St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a deputy-involved shooting occurred in St. Petersburg Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 12:49 p.m. near the intersection of Alcazar Way South and Alhambra Way South, the agency wrote in an email to media.

Few details are being released at this time, but the sheriff’s office said no deputies were injured.
