Reminder: DUI Wolf Pack Announced by St. Pete Police
St. Petersburg Police will be on the prowl this weekend for impaired motorists.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — People with big plans in St. Petersburg this weekend might want to think twice about getting behind the wheel impaired. The police department has announced its officers will hit the road for a DUI Wolf Pack Friday night.
The patrol is set to begin in the evening hours Oct. 21 with an end set for some time Saturday morning.
Police have not said which roads they intend to focus on, but warn they’ll “be on the lookout for impaired drivers.”

The operation is a part of the department’s “commitment to reduce deaths, injuries, and property damage associated with traffic crashes related to impaired driving,” an email from the agency said. “The goal is to educate citizens and create public awareness about the dangers of impaired driving.”
Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Remove Intoxicated Drivers USA and the Suncoast Safety Council will assist in the operation.
