Man Found Dead in Car Identified

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department has released the identity of a man found dead in a car at the Disston Place apartments early Friday morning.

According to the agency, two calls about shots fired came in around 4 a.m. Oct. 14. When officers responded to the apartment complex at 3900 55th St. N., they found Johnny Tazz Brown, 36, dead from gunshot wounds, an email from the department said.

The shooting remains under investigation with no further information being released at this time. No suspects have been identified as of yet.
