ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Art lovers have one last chance Sunday to check out the work of Paulina Casati on display at Forever Florida Real Estate in St. Petersburg.

The Virginia native, who grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, spent time in Asheville and Detroit, among other places, before moving to Florida three years ago.

“I always joke that if Florida had mountains, I’d be in absolute heaven here,” she told Patch.
Her “creativity began to blossom” while living in North Carolina, Casati said. “I fell in love with making art and painting, and always approached it from a different angle and appreciation and passion.”
Since moving to Florida, she’s focused more on plant medicine work, “and that definitely opened up more and more channels,” she said. “The visions are getting a lot more clear.”

This and lucid dreaming are a big influence on her work, also inspired by sacred geometry and ancestral healing.
The “frequency is being woven into” her art, Casati said.
Her exhibition, “Paradise Remembered,” explores forgotten dimensions, fractal patterns, and the celestial memories that live within our collective consciousness.
Half the work was created about a decade ago, and the other half over the last year or so, she said.
“There’s still cohesion,” Casati said. “There’s a message that’s been coming through and it’s like you start walking and then crawling and then you get up on feet and then we’re running marathons. The message is more and more crystalized … That cosmic influence is becoming more. It’s closer to us and coming closer and closer to us.”
She added, “This show, in particular, is designed to help awaken memories within us that we have not remembered. I’m so fascinated with patterns and fractals and see them everywhere.”
