St. Petersburg Police say the dirt bike's driver died following the Tuesday night crash. The bike, without a rider, also hit a woman.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Two people were hospitalized after a Tuesday night dirt bike crash on 7th Street South. One of them has since died, according to St. Petersburg Police.
Police say Gregory Deontae Brinson, 26, was riding a 2004 green Kawasaki dirt bike north on 7th Street South around 9:45 p.m. As Brinson approached 17th Avenue South, he swerved toward the east side of the road to avoid hitting another vehicle in the intersection, an email from the police department said.
When he swerved, police say Brinson’s front tire struck the curb. Brinson, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the bike, the email said.
