Pinellas County Schools: Upcoming Dates You Need to Know About

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The clocks have changed, the election’s over and the holidays are fast approaching. With Pinellas County school kids preparing for more than a few upcoming days off, Patch wanted to help parents keep up.

Here’s a look at some important upcoming dates Pinellas County parents need to know about as 2016 races to a close:

• Veterans Day – Nov. 11 is not a day off for Pinellas kids.
• Fall break – District schools are out of session Nov. 21-25. Kids go back to school on Nov. 28.
• End of second grading period – The date for teachers to close out their grade books is Dec. 16.
• Winter break – Students are off from Dec. 19 through Jan. 2, 2017, with a return-to-class date of Jan. 3 set.
