St. Pete Death Under Investigation

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Petersburg Police are investigating the death of a man found floating in a pond Monday morning.

According to the agency, officers were called out to a pond near the 200 block of Northwest Monroe Circle North around 11 a.m. The man’s body was pulled from the water, but police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man is described as being in his 30s. His identity is not yet being released.

“Foul play is not suspected,” police wrote in an email to media.

No further information is being released at this time.
