St. Pete Man Found in Pond Identified

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department has released the name of the man found dead in a pond late Monday morning.

According to the agency, Moises Orama Jr., 37, was pulled from water near the 200 block of Northwest Monroe Circle North around 11 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the medical examiner’s office is working to determine cause of death. Foul play, however, is not suspected, an email from police said.

No further information is being released at this time.
