Tampa Woman Killed in Pinellas County I-275 Crash
A 25-year-old woman died following a Wednesday night crash on I-275.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A 25-year-old Tampa woman is dead following a Wednesday night crash on Interstate 275 in Pinellas County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Danyella Lee Gieder was heading north on I-275 around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 19. As Gieder’s Nissan Altima traveled in the inside lane south of Gandy Boulevard, she lost control for unknown reasons, a patrol report said.
Gieder’s car left the road, went into the shoulder and hit a guardrail, the report said. The car ended up redirecting back across the roadway. It struck a concrete bridge support before coming to a stop.

Troopers say Gieder was taken to a local hospital, but died late from her injuries.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the patrol’s report said.
