Video: Person of Interest Sought in Double Shooting
Breaking: The Tuesday night shooting in St. Petersburg left one Tampa man dead and another injured.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — As St. Petersburg Police continue to investigate a Tuesday night double shooting that resulted in the death of one Tampa man and the critical injury of another, they’ve released a video that shows a person of interest in the case.
According to police, the person being sought for questioning in the case was seen in the area where the shooting occurred around 10:50 p.m. Tuesday along 9th Avenue North.
Anyone who recognizes the man in the video is asked to call the police department at 727-893-7780. He is described as standing about 6-foot-2 in height. The man weighs an estimated 250 pounds and was last seen wearing a baggy red T-shirt, baggy long red shorts, white ankle socks and sandals.

Police say the two victims were sitting in a car in the 3700 block of 9th Avenue North when they were shot. The victims were taken to Bayfront Health for treatment, police said. One of the men, Mark Pointer, 25, of Tampa died at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday.
The other victim has been identified as Julius Buchanan, 28, of Tampa. He was last reported as being in critical condition.

Neville Allen Chambers, 21, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting, police announced Wednesday. The search for a second suspect remains active.
Police say the man in the video is a person of interest in the case.
