The unit is being nationally recognized for overall quality from Medicare and Medicaid Services.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The prestigious recognition is based on health inspections, staffing, and quality of patient care.

The 32-bed unit is uniquely designed to offer physical, occupational, and speech therapies 7 days a week. It is conveniently located within the hospital and provides access to highly trained physicians and therapists, who use leading-edge technology and innovative techniques.

The unit offers beds without rails, allows patients to wear their own clothes instead of hospital gowns, provides 24/7 access to a social services worker, and includes an activities room with scheduled events to encourage patients to get active on the path to a fast, healthy recovery.
