The following arrests were made in Tarpon Springs between May 16-22.

May 16
Linda Harnish, 65, of New Port Richey, was arrested on felony charges of retail theft and providing a false name to a law enforcement officer. She was bonded out for $2,650.

James Smith, 19, of Tarpon Springs, was arrested on two felony charges of burglary of an occupied dwelling. Smith's bond is set at $16,000 and he is currently awaiting trial at the Pinellas County Jail.
May 17
Kevin Collins, 42, transient, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of solicitation from a roadway. He was later released.

Yannis Demopoulos, 23, of New Port Richey, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of simple battery and disorderly conduct. He was bonded out for $750.
Zachary Jurgens, 22, of Tarpon Springs, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing. He was bonded out for $250.
Peter Stclair, 23, of Largo, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing after a warning. He was released after time served.
May 18
Jeffrey Broemmelsick, 30, of Palm Harbor, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of failure to pay child support. He is currently awaiting trial at the Pinellas County Jail.
Krista Gust, 31, of Tarpon Springs, was arrested on felony charges of violation of probation for Pasco County charges and child abuse. She was later released.
May 19
Jimmie Sias, 88, of Tarpon Springs was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. He was released on his own recognizance.
May 20
The Tarpon Springs Police Department recorded no arrests of Tarpon Springs residents on this day.
May 21
Derek Thomas, 22, of Tarpon Springs, was arrested on felony charges of armed burglary, robbery with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a firearm and grand theft of a motor vehicle. Thomas' bond is set at $110,000 and he is currently awaiting trial at the Pinellas County Jail.
May 22
The Tarpon Springs Police Department recorded no arrests of Tarpon Springs residents on this day.
