Autos for Autism, 'Make Your Peace' and Beach Cleanup

Friday

The Diamonds will hit the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 ($26 for members, students). Performing original hits from the 50s and 60s, the group promises to please fans and music lovers. 

From Friday through Sunday, the Fourposter will be performed at the Cultural Center. Tickets for the comedy are $16 ($14 for members, students). On opening night, all seats will be $10 at the door. Show times are at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Saturday

Give back from 8-10 a.m. with a Sunset Beach cleanup session. Bring rubber gloves and trash bags to help make a difference at the natural wonder.

To kick off the weekend in style, Autos for Autism will take place at 9:30 a.m. The event will draw 250 classic and antique automobiles for the public to enjoy.Tickets are $15 and proceeds benefit the Autism Speaks organization.

Peace 4 Tarpon is scheduled to host a "Make Your Peace" event at the Tarpon Springs Public Library from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Guests are invited to create a peace flag using different materials. The flag will be added to the group's effort of hanging  peace flags around town. There is no cost to participate.

At 4 p.m. the final lecture in the Tarpon Springs Area Historical Society's series will take place at the Heritage Museum. Presented by archaeologist, Jeff Moatesthe lecture Maritime Heritage and Traditions will reveal connections from the area's past to present times.

Sunday

Get your local shop on at the Tarpon Sunday Market. Vendors ranging from food to unique gifts to produce will be on hand to ensure a productive Sunday outing.
