Free Medicare Workshop in Tarpon Springs

The maze of Medicare can be confusing for those seeking care in the health system. The Florida Hospital North Pinellas wants to make it easier.

On Wednesday, May 15 the hospital will offer two free workshops titled "Medicare 101 - Understanding Medicare." The classes will be held at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The class will be led by representatives from the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas and Florida Department of Elder Affairs. They will present an overview Medicare, information about subsidies and take questions from the audience. The seminar is open to people 18 and older, however reservations are required.
