Greek Festival, Koresh Dance Company and Peace Flags

Friday

Running Friday through Sunday is the Greek Festival hosted by St. Nicholas Cathedral. The event is free and complete with food vendors, Greek dancing and live music. The schedule is as follows: Friday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tarpon Arts will host a Lunch & Learn session at the Heritage Museum with Ronen Koresh. The award-winning choreographer will be presenting insight about his Israeli roots and his dance company. Tickets are $15 ($12 for members, students).

Saturday

Folks interested in attending a Koresh dance workshop can do so for $5 at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center. The class takes place from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

At 7:30 p.m. on the Performing Arts Center's stage, the Koresh Dance Company will give an action-packed performance. Tickets are $25 ($22 for members and $10 for students).

Sunday

The Life of Irene Castle will be performed at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16 ($14 for members and students).

Enjoy some good food and live music at the Tarpon Sunday Market. In addition to the weekly offerings of the market, the Peace Flag Project team will be on hand to help visitors decorate (for free) their own peace flags from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The group hopes to hang 10,000 peace flags by April.
