Pinellas Animal Services Offers Mobile Clinic
Animal Services will bring its mobile clinic to two locations in Pinellas County in June.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL – Pinellas County Animal Services is taking its show on the road to the extreme boundaries of its peninsula.
In an effort to ensure public health and promote responsible pet ownership in the north and the south, Pinellas County will host a mobile clinic on Tuesday, June 6 from 9 a.m. at the Tarpon Springs Health Department, 301 S. Disston Ave., and on Friday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the St. Petersburg Health Department, 205 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N.
The mobile clinic will offer licensing, rabies vaccinations and microchipping. Staff will also be able to update microchip information, check on evacuation zones and provide vaccine records.

“We are committed to serve our residents anywhere in the community to help them become responsible pet owners,” said Doug Brightwell, director of Pinellas County Animal Services. “By taking our services on the road, we are able to offer our residents a convenient way to license, vaccinate or microchip their pets.”
Pinellas County Animal Services is located at 12450 Ulmerton Road in Largo. Regular hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the adoption center closing at 5:30 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and services include adoptions. Rabies vaccinations are administered on Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m.
