Reader Spotlight: Music on the Beach 'Bombards' Neighbors
Although a lot of Tarponites are supportive of the seasonal event, one reader voiced her dislike for the concerts.

On Tarpon Springs Patch, we highlight interaction from our readers.
Recently, organizers for Music on the Beach released a schedule for the upcoming season.Â
Reader, Linda commented, "I do not like the "Music at the Beach". Why is it necessary to make all that noise? Nature lovers are not allowed to enjoy the beach in the evening. Closed at sunset. The boom-boom from the electronic equipment comes through the walls of my home and no one can sleep until it finally ends late at night. Whose bad idea was this anyway? On one side we are bombarded by the noise of the TSHS band practicing for hours and listening to the bandmaster screaming orders."
In response, Darlene wrote, "Linda should learn to love sounds, it means there is LIFE. She will have all the quiet she needs when she leaves this earth."
