Recycle Your Christmas Tree in Tarpon Springs

Don't let that old tannenbaum go to waste. Follow these simple steps and recycle it instead.

For Tarpon Springs residents, the process of recycling the Christmas tree is simple.

Either drop it off for a small fee at the Yard Waste Facility, located on 898 S. Levis Ave., or place it on the curb for regular curbside pickup.

The trees will be chopped processed into mulch, which will soon be available for free at a number of locations.

In order to have your tree picked up, curbside, you must:

Remove all the tinsel and ornaments
Leave it loose and do not use a bag or a trash can to store it
Apartments and condos should leave the tree by a dumpster without blocking access to it
