Shepherd Center to Help 'Stamp Out Hunger'

Alongside the National Association of Letter Carriers, the local nonprofit is taking in canned goods to support the drive.

On Saturday, May 11 the Tarpon Springs Shepherd Center will be taking in canned goods from around the area in conjunction with the Stamp Out Hunger event, which takes place all over America.

Folks can donate by leaving a bag of nonperishables by their mailbox for their letter carrier to pick up and drop off at the Shepherd Center.

To take the giving back process a step further, Tarponites can donate their time to the Shepherd Center between noon and 8 p.m. on May 11 and help sort through the donated food items.
