Tarpon City Commission to Welcome New Member

At Tuesday night's Board of Commissioners meeting, Vice-Mayor Chris Alalhouzos' term will come to an end, while Commissioner-Elect David Banther's journey will have just begun.

Join the City of Tarpon Springs in its welcoming of Commissioner-Elect David Banther into City Commission's Seat 4 on Tuesday night at City Hall.

The regular session for the Board of Commissioners will begin at 6:30 p.m., when Vice-Mayor Chris Alahouzos' term will come to an end.

Following Alahouzos' presentation, an oath of office will be taken by the re-elected Mayor David O. Archie and Commissioner Jeff Larsen, as well as Comissioner-Elect Banther.

Banther won a seat on the commission by capturing 40 percent of the vote in a March 12 municipal election, beating out three other candidates.
