Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks would benefit from having an electric vehicle charging network

The main Sponge Docks parking lot is located at the intersection of Pinellas Avenue and Dodecanese Blvd. This is a great place for an electric vehicle charging network. The parking lot is owned by The Sponge Factory next door.

Please think of this being Tarpon Springs' version of The Tesla Diner.

The 28 parking spots farthest to the east could be repurposed. The Sponge Docks could then have around 20 electric vehicle charging stations. These current 28 parking spots represent around 15% of the parking lot spaces. This would encourage people with fully electric vehicles to drive from neighboring counties & spend the full day on the wonderful Sponge Docks for food & fun.
