'The Place' to be in Tarpon Springs
Homemade sandwiches, salads and soups are available at the N. Pinellas Ave. shop.

Tarpon Springs is home to some of the best mom and pop shops in Pinellas County and The Place is no exception.
With more than 25 sandwich options, a number of homemade soups and a handful of fresh salads on the menu, The Place might actually be the place to be.
Sandwiches range in price from the $5 micro (5 inch sub) to the $16 Blue Thing (16" sub with roast beef, fresh veggies, blue cheese and dressing).

There are meats galore at The Place, including corned beef, capicola, turkey, ham, bacon and salami. That's not to mention the chicken salad and tuna.
Some of the offerings are served cold while others are pressed like a panini. Most of the sandwiches can be pressed for $1 more.

Side options include macaronia salad, potato salad, cole slaw, chips or potato wedges. The Place also serves beer and soda.
