15 Nights of Holiday Lights

Here’s how 15 Nights of Holiday Lights works:

• We’ll take pictures at houses we think have eye-catching lighting displays and then post them on Temple Terrace Patch. We’ll post one photo each day from Dec. 1 to 15.
• Then, we’ll pick the three photos that represent the homes we think have the most interesting displays and let residents vote for their favorite from Dec. 16 to 20.
• Voting will end at noon on Dec. 20, and the winner will be announced Dec. 21. The winner has bragging rights for the rest of the season. We'll also be giving away  2012 calendars with coupons inside and gift cards for free peppermint chocolate chip milkshakes.

Here’s the most important part: We want your help.

If you know of a house (maybe even your own) that has a killer display, let us know. Better yet, take a picture of the house at night, mark down the address, and email that information to ashley.reams@patch.com.

And, don’t forget to enter Patch’s nationwide contest through Dec. 26. The winner’s public school district will receive $100,000. The Dupree family, of Temple Terrace, has entered this contest. Vote for them!
