Arizona Woman Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver While Walking On 56th
The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking tips to find a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a 32-year-old Arizona woman Monday evening.
TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking tips that will lead to the arrest of a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a 32-year-old Arizona woman Monday evening.
The woman was walking south in the bicycle lane on 56th Street approaching Harney Road at 5:36 p.m. in broad daylight. She was struck by a southbound maroon-colored car that came up on her from behind.
She died at the scene.

The highway patrol has released videos of the crash in the hopes one of the drivers seen in the video will come forward and provide some leads.
Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call the FHP at 813-558-1800 or Crime Stoppers.

Warning: This video contains extremely disturbing images showing the victim being struck from behind as she walked along a bike lane on 56th street. The highway patrol released the video in the hopes that it will jog the memory of one of several drivers seen on the video passing through the area at the time of the crash. Patch agreed to share it with readers with the sole intention of helping the highway patrol bring this hit-and-run driver to justice and give the victim's family closure. The name of the victim has not been released to protect her and her family's privacy.
