World’s Largest Food Truck Rally’

Enjoy live entertainment and plenty of food as dozens of food trucks rally at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. 301, on Saturday, Aug. 31. The event begins at 11 a.m. and runs through 8 p.m. About 15 bands are expected to play and organizers are shooting for 100 food trucks. Find out more on South Tampa Patch.

Light Up the Night

Downtown Tampa’s Channelside is the place to be this Labor Day weekend as Light Up the Night gets under way Sunday, Sept. 1. The bands start playing at 6 p.m., a boat parade starts at 7:30 and fireworks will light up the night sky at 8:30 p.m. Find out more details on TBO.com.

Catch a Movie at Pier 60
