Temple Terrace residents brought lawn chairs, golf carts and refreshments to Bonnie Brae Park on Sunday for an annual .

The  was on hand to monitor the burning of about 50 Christmas trees.

"It's incredible," said onlooker of the large flames created by the dry trees. "It's like a nuclear explosion."
