Community Garden Group Plans Saturday Workday

The Temple Terrace Community Garden at Riverhills Elementary School is taking shape, and members plan to work in the garden on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.

The group is inviting those with an interest in gardening to join the work session and the garden itself.

Group members and are in the process of converting an existing garden at into a community garden. The group is also working with the to build a larger community garden in .

Their last workday was Jan. 7.

“We cleared new areas of the garden and planted basil, garlic, kale and more,” said member .
