Council Expected to Consider Annexing Property

The Temple Terrace City Council will meet at 6 p.m. tonight at City Hall.

The City of Temple Terrace is considering annexing multiple properties in the U.S. 301 Industrial Area, and the City Council will hear a presentation on the issue at its Tuesday meeting.

According to the meeting agenda, the council is scheduled to learn about the voluntary annexation of seven properties, including 8801, 8804 and 8811 Maislin Drive, 7601-7603 Industrial Lane, and 8801 Industrial Drive. Additionally, the city would annex the adjacent rights-of-way. The land totals nearly 35 acres.

  • Consider a zoning reclassification and the final site plan for Idede Professional Park at 9780 N. 56th St.
  • Vote on three resolutions including: an agreement with the Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club; the purchase of crime and drug prevention programs and equipment; and a contract to Dallas 1 Construction and Development to relocated the water main at 56th Street and 113th Avenue.
  • Hear a presentation on the fiscal year 2010-11 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
