DEP’s Temple Terrace Office to Lose 25 Employees
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is set to conduct layoffs Thursday in its Southwest District, according to a TBO.com story.

In a move to cut costs, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Southwest District, whose office is located in Temple Terrace, will be laying of 25 employees, according to a story on TBO.com.
The measure will see both management and field staff let go and save the DEP $990,000 when combined with 14 vacancies that won’t be filled, the story states. All six Florida DEP district offices are set to go through similar processes.
DEP’s staff is aware of the layoffs, the story states.
