The Temple Terrace Fire Department is an authorized provider of the American Heart Association's Emergency Cardiovascular Care courses.
The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course is designed for healthcare professionals or anyone preparing to become a BLS instructor. The content for this course is more extensive than other CPR courses that the fire department offers. It runs anywhere between six and eight hours and costs $40. Fees collected from the course help the fire department provide CPR community education and awareness.
If a course is canceled due to low registration or a community emergency, registered participants will be notified prior to the course and given the option to reschedule.
