The VA 2K Walk, hosted by the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, Â will benefit homeless veterans and promote health and wellness. The event is open to the public, and the hospital is one of 130 facilities across the country partcipating in this inaugural event.
Registration is free, but participants are encouraged to bring items that can be donated to homeless veterans, such as toiletries, bug spray, sunscreen, backpacks, ponchos, new socks, gift cards or cash.
