Relay for Life Yard Sale

There will be a yard sale to benefit the Temple Terrace Relay for Life Saturday, April 13 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Terrace Sports Bowling Center, 5311 E. Busch Blvd., Temple Terrace.

Spring Stroll

Sherwood Forest, 10935 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace, will host a Spring Stroll Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Several merchants will offer presentations. Essential Balance Holistic Wellness Center will have free chair massages. There will be tai chi demonstrations and Mary Kay Cosmetics will offer glamour clinics, with proceeds going to Relay for Life. The Bloodmobile will be on hand, offering free T-shirts to anyone who donates blood, and My Secret Boutique will collect clothing for the homeless.

CD Release Party

There will be a CD release party for Voices of Strength, a collection of messages of hope, health and healing from sexual and domestic violence survivors, Friday, April 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Embassy Suites, 3705 Spectrum Blvd., Tampa. There will be food and an opportunity to purchase the CD.

Nature's Classroom Open House

Nature's Classroom, 13100 Verges Rd., Thonotosassa, is celebrating its Woods, Water and Wildlife open house event Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature student nature art displays, live music, children’s activities, animal handling, lunch food sales and a variety of environmentally focused exhibits and events. Visitors can enjoy their day outdoors and tour the animal collections and native plant areas. A donation of $5 per vehicle is requested.

Masque Theatre on Stage

Masque Theatre will stage "I Love You Because" Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 20 at 3 p.m. at the Omar K. Lightfoot Recreation Center, 10901 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace. The play is about a young, uptight greeting card writer whose life is changed when he meets a flighty photographer. Along with their eccentric friends and siblings, they learn to love each other not in spite of their faults, but because of them. The play is recommended for age 18 years old and up. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for students, seniors and military.

Karaoke

Shamrock's Ale House, 7805 Temple Terrace Highway, Temple Terrace, hosts karaoke every Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Flea Market

American Legion Post 334, 929 E. 139th Ave., Tampa, hosts a flea market every Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
