USF Dance Concert

Come and support the choreographers and performers of the University of South Florida Dance Department at the Student Dance Production Board's annual performance, "Yours Truly..." Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 from 8 to 10 p.m. along with a 2 p.m. Saturday performance in Theatre 1 at USF, 4202 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa. The performance will feature everything from solos to large ensembles with styles ranging from classical to contemporary, ballet, modern, hip hop and dance-theater.

Masque Theatre on Stage

Masque Theatre will stage "I Love You Because" Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 20 at 3 p.m. at the Omar K. Lightfoot Recreation Center, 10901 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace. The play is about a young, uptight greeting card writer whose life is changed when he meets a flighty photographer. Along with their eccentric friends and siblings, they learn to love each other not in spite of their faults, but because of them. The play is recommended for age 18 years old and up. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for students, seniors and military.

Improv Comedy

Post Dinner Conversation will present improv comedy at Felicitous Independent Coffee House, 11706 N. 51st St., Temple Terrace, Friday, April 19 at 8 p.m.

International Festival

Experience different cultures at the third annual International Festival Saturday, April 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace, 10002 56th St. N., Temple Terrace. The event will feature singers, musicians and dancers from China, Haiti and India, free food and drinks, a fashion show, cultural displays, bounce houses and games.

Earth Day Celebration

The University of South Florida Botanical Gardens, 12210 USF Pine Dr., Tampa, will host an Earth Day celebration Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature a drum circle, vendors of green products and services, children’s activities and more.

Spaghetti Dinner

Temple Terrace Community Church, 210 Inverness Ave., Temple Terrace, will host a classic spaghetti supper in the parish hall Friday, April 19 at 6 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $8 for children.

Free Yoga in the Park

Residents can enjoy a free yoga class at Riverhills Park, 329 S. Riverhills Dr., Temple Terrace, Sunday, April 21 at 5 p.m. Bring a mat, towel and water.

Karaoke

Shamrock's Ale House, 7805 Temple Terrace Highway, Temple Terrace, hosts karaoke every Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Flea Market

American Legion Post 334, 929 E. 139th Ave., Tampa, hosts a flea market every Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
