I-75 Widening Project: Expect Nightly Traffic Delays

As the Interstate 75 widening project continues from Fowler Avenue in Temple Terrace to County Road 54 in Wesley Chapel, the Florida Department of Transportation has put together this list of scheduled road closings so motorists know what to expect.

I-75 Widening from Fowler Avenue to State Road 56

• One lane may be closed in each direction of Fowler Avenue under I-75, 9 p.m.-6 a.m., through Wednesday (March 20).
• One lane may be closed on southbound I-75 in various areas between Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (Exit 270) and Fowler Avenue (Exit 265), 10:30 p.m.-5 a.m., through Thursday (March 21).

New Tampa Boulevard Bridge over I-75

• Traffic will be shifted to the right paved shoulder and reduced to one lane on southbound I-75 between State Road 56 (Exit 275) and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (Exit 270) at the site of the New Tampa Boulevard Bridge construction, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Wednesday (March 20). Northbound traffic will also be reduced to one lane and detoured to one of the closed southbound lanes.

I-75 Widening from State Road 56 to County Road 54

• One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from SR 56 (Exit 275) to one mile north of CR 54 (Exit 279), 8 p.m.-5 a.m., through Friday (March 22).
