Local Artist Hosts Painting Workshops

Local artist Terry Klaaren will be teaching an open-air workshop for teens and adults at Flatwoods Trout Creek Park on March 24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Attendees will learn how to paint landscapes and should bring snacks and lawn chairs. A $30 fee will cover the class and all materials. Class size is limited for individual attention, and reservations are required.

Klaaren also teaches art classes at every Tuesday, 7-8:30 p.m.

Anyone can attend these weekly classes, which cost $25 for Temple Terrace Recreation members and $35 for all others. Materials are provided.
