Local Photographer to Present at Florida Museum of Photographic Arts

If you have been to any events in Temple Terrace over the past 10 years, you may have seen professional photographer David Williams without knowing it.

Williams has the ability to slip in and capture great photographs, usually blending in unseen.

But he’ll be front and center Wednesday when he gives a presentation at 7 p.m. at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, 200 N. Tampa St., Suite 130, Tampa. The cost is $6.

In addition to the usual wedding photography, modeling shots, and black-and-white fine art prints, Williams has a passion for a very specialized field: blues musician photography. On Wednesday, Williams will discuss three of his favorite portraits of blues artists—B.B. King, Lil Bill Wallace and Eden Brent.

“I have always been fascinated with the talented people who create this musical form,” he said.
