Moffitt Cancer Center Hosts Business of Biotech Conference

From Moffitt Cancer Center:

hosted its sixth annual Business of Biotech conference Feb. 6. This year’s theme was “Turning Vision into Reality.”

The keynote speaker was Risa Stack, Ph.D., with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a venture capital partnership headquartered in the San Francisco Bay area with a large capital base for investment.

The conference focused on opportunities for businesses and investors to network and collaborate in life sciences, biotechnology, medical devices, angel investing, venture capital, finance and intellectual property.

In addition, the Tampa Bay Partnership released a biotech heat map at the conference showing all biotech companies and research institutions.
