MOSI Offers Spring Break Camps

The sessions will take place March 12-16 for Hillsborough students and April 2-6 for Pasco and private school students.

The will be offering camps during spring break for Hillsborough and Pasco county students. Camps cost $168 for MOSI members and $233 for non-members.

The schedule is:

Inventors at Play
March 12-16 for Hillsborough County students in kindergarten through third-grades
9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Students will be able to tap into the power of play through odd inventions and exciting brain games, as well as solve challenges with flying ping-pong balls and rolling marbles.

Video Game Movie Making
March 12-16 for Hillsborough County students in fourth- through eighth-grades
9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Students will learn to use 3D animation and other computerized movie making skills to direct Diner Dash: The Movie, Halo: The Untold Story or whatever movie idea inspires them.

Powerful Paper
April 2-6 for Pasco County and private schools students inΒ kindergarten through fifth-grades
9 a.m.-4 p.m.
This year for the first time, MOSI is also offering spring break camps for Pasco County and private schools. Students will be able to discover 100 ways to explore the wonders of the world with paper, make paper from scratch, and measure gravity, wind and heat using the fantastic fibrous material.

And, students can get ready for the upcoming 2012 Summer Science Camp, which starts at MOSI June 11 until Aug. 17. Those who register before April 1 will receive 15 percent off the camp registration fee. No other discounts apply.
